'I've always wondered why it's necessary': Woman attracts controversy for grilling boyfriend about when he will propose

Every unmarried heterosexual couple of a certain age faces the same question when they have been together for a couple of years; a pushy family member or a nosy friend inevitably wants to know "When are you getting married?". Never mind your personal beliefs on tying the knot, or what stage your relationship is currently at. It seems like the whole world is staring you down until there is a ring on somebody's finger. 

It's difficult not to feel the pressure between the two of you, especially if one person has more dreams of marriage than the other. Some viewers speculated that this was the case when a TikToker posted herself on a date with her boyfriend, demanding he tell her when he was going to propose. Others were more positive about the situation. Who knows, maybe the dude had a trick up his sleeve that she couldn't know about yet.
